Canstar Mechanical, Western Canada’s leading Mechanical and HVAC Contracting Company has been in business since 1992. They selected Telrad in 2013 for the supply and installation of their new communication platform when they renovated their Coquitlam Head Quarters.
Canstar loved the simplicity of the Vision 100 being a Single Server solution….less hardware = less points of failure. They wanted to implement a new IVR Auto Attendant to assist with handling their increasing number of calls- due to their rapidly expanding business. They also hoped to network the remote job sites with their head office by using IP networking and to deploy remote IP phones vs separate independent phone systems at each job site. Another feature they were looking for was Call Record to keep records of important meetings and conversations regarding job scopes and critical project details. Conference calling with the Video Phones between the job site Supervisors and Management was a winning solution! Call reporting on a per project basis was a must-need feature (built in with Telrad VISIONware) for billing and project management. Another item on their wish list was a Unified Communication Solution….dialing out client’s contacts from MS Outlook with the VIScom Communicator Desktop Software.
